Every year, since 2013 Hope Sheds Light has sponsored the annual Hope Recovery Walk. Every year it takes place the first Saturday after Labor Day in September. This year it will be held on September 12, 2026.
It’s amazing to see the huge Sea of yellow Find Hope t-shirts as over 1500 Walkers gather on the north end of the boards. It is a time to reflect on those we have lost to the disease of addiction and lift the promise of recovery.
This event, which is centered around a two-mile walk, is an awareness and fundraising effort to benefit the mission of HOPE Sheds Light. The walk highlights resources for family members and friends impacted by addiction, inspirational speakers, a Tree of Hope, onsite vendors, a raffle and more!
When: Saturday, September 6, 2025
Time: Check-in begins at 8 am
Where: Hiering Avenue Beach in Seaside Heights, NJ
Distance: 2 miles
Cost: $10 registration
First 1,000 registrants receive a T-shirt
at the walk.
